Looking to cycle spot-starters each day? Check out the Stream Team, where we tab pitchers that are likely to help you in your quest for fantasy gold.Bronson Arroyo kept his streak of quality starts alive on Sunday, allowing two runs in 7.1 innings. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to secure the win, but this start gave the Team a solid weekend after a horrible week. Derek Holland will attempt to close out the month of August on a high note tonight, when he squares off against Toronto at home.
It's been a long time since we've seen Tim Hudson on the mound, but he's scheduled to start tomorrow's game against the Marlins. He's been gradually rounding into shape in six rehab starts, with his last coming eight days ago in Triple-A. In that start, he was able to go six innings and throw 89 pitches, and the velocity stayed in the 90s deep into the game. This tells me he should be able to go at least five, and possibly six innings in Tuesday's start. However, I like to avoid pitchers in the return games, so I'd exercise caution with the former ace.
Instead, I'd go with Royals pitcher Kyle Davies in Oakland tomorrow. The A's have scored just 20 runs in their last seven games, posting a .630 OPS this past week. Davies has shone on the road, with a 3.07 ERA and 1.28 WHIP in nine road starts this season. He's struck out 51 batters in 55.2 innings away from home, so the potential is there to rack up a number of Ks tomorrow.
Play the road splits and take Davies tomorrow, and if you're desperate for pitching stats and/or you have an extra spot for streaming, Hudson is likely your second-best option of the day.

Ah well, no hard feelings! Still gonna start Davies tomorrow. Hopefully he will make up for Holland. :D
