It's time for another Fantasy Baseball Cram Session, this time I joined up with Tom Herrera for my first career cram session. (Fingers crossed). We discussed a handful of guys with huge first halves and which ones were real and which were not. Among the names involved were Mark Reynolds, Adam Lind, Aaron Hill and Juan Rivera. We also discussed some injury troubles, including ones to very important fantasy contributors like Torii Hunter and Geovany Soto. Is Vladimir Guerrero completely breaking down? What happens to Roy Halladay's fantasy value if he gets traded? Join us for these topics and more in the latest cram session.

Horrible... you'd trade Aaron Hill for Rollins? Do you guys partake in hard drugs? Rollins has been awful last year and now this year. He's also about 4 years older, and has a big mouth. What a chump. He also didn't deserve that MVP... the only real MVP on the Phillies is named Chase Utley.
After mulling over this comment for a few minutes, something dawned on me. I don't think you knew we were talking about fantasy baseball. Obviously the Phillies wouldn't move Rollins for a Chase Utley replacement. If you did realize we were talking about FANTASY baseball teams, than I stand by my below comment.
Since we recorded this ....
Rollins: 11-30 (.367), 4 doubles, 1 triple, 2 RBI, 6 runs, 4 stolen bases
Hill: 3-29 (.103), 2 doubles, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base
Not sure if you heard, but when trading players, you get their stats from after the trade while retaining the stats from your original player when you owned him. Using a big first half from one guy and big second half from another is how leagues are won. Sitting on someone who had an out-of-character first half and collecting his bad second half stats without acting on it is how leagues are lost.
You can come back at the end of the year and compare Rollins and Hill from July 9th on ... but it doesn't look good so far.
